The National Association of Home Builders selected Parc at Buckhead as the top award winner in design of its 2007 Best of 50+ Housing Awards for an Independent Living Community.

The Gold Award was presented to Parc at Buckhead at the NAHB “Building for Boomers & Beyond: 50+ Housing Symposium” recently held in Denver and was accepted by Roy Dickson, president of Parc Communities.

Parc at Buckhead is a high-rise living environment for active adults age 55 and older and is nearing completion on Phipps Boulevard opposite Phipps Plaza shopping mall. The 20-story building has 193 apartments for lease and offers amenities and services found in world-class hotels. Parc at Buckhead also offers its tenants recreational, entertainment, arts, continuing education and fitness programs through two full-time club directors on the premises.

The Gold Award is based on site, design, innovation and opportunities for adults over age 50 to remain active. One-and two-bedroom floor plans at Parc at Buckhead range from over 600 square feet to just under 2,000 square feet. No capital investments or long-term contracts are required.
