The Fulton County Board of Education recently approved a $1.5 million improvement to the North Springs High School athletic facilities.
A request for proposals for the construction project closed July 31. The football field will be leveled and outfitted with artificial turf, a polyurethane track will be built with new track-and-field equipment, the home-side stadium seating will be raised, and the field house will be improved.
“The improvements are going to benefit the school greatly. The artificial turf and the polyurethane track are state-of-the-art improvements for our students here,” Principal Lisa Steuve said.
