The following information was provided to the Reporter by the Zone 2 precinct of the Atlanta Police Department from its records and is presumed to be accurate.

Auto theft

1500 block of Paran Glen Road, 30327 – A white 1995 GMC Sierra was stolen from a parking lot Nov. 25.

Commercial burglary

1200 block of West Paces Ferry Road, 30327 – A man reported Nov. 26 he saw a dark-blue midsize SUV pull up to Wolf Camera around 1 a.m. Three men dressed all in black with hoodies covering their faces broke in through the front door and stole four plasma televisions. Police were unable to recover fingerprints.

1900 block of Howell Mill Road, 30318 – An employee of Chick-fil-A reported Nov. 25 that $1,928 worth of meat was stolen from the restaurant. The incident was captured by surveillance cameras.

2700 block of Defoors Ferry Road, 30318 – An employee of Traveler’s Aid of Metro Atlanta reported Nov. 25 she arrived at the office and found an Emerson 20-inch television and a Cyberhome DVD player missing. There were no signs of forced entry, but the sliding door to the office was not locked.

1100 block of Chattahoochee Avenue, 30318 – Someone broke out the garage door window of a business. Police had no suspects, and it was unknown whether anything was taken.

Commercial robbery

1700 block of Howell Mill Road, 30318 – A T-Mobile worker reported Nov. 24 that a man and woman entered the store armed with a gun and demanded money.

1200 block of Aalto Main, 30318 – A man reported Nov. 26 someone entered his studio and stole a pendant valued at $7,500 and two watches valued at $5,500. The method of entry was unknown, and police had no suspects.

Pedestrian robbery

3300 block of Roswell Road, 30305 – A woman reported Nov. 29 she was walking to a friend’s apartment when a man approached her and demanded all her money. He pulled out a switchblade knife and snatched her purse. He fled in a navy-blue Dodge Charger. The purse included $400 in cash, a credit card, and keys to her home and car. Video footage of the incident was recovered.

2400 block of Piedmont Road, 30324 – A man reported Nov. 24 he was walking on Piedmont Road from Sidney Marcus Boulevard when a man approached from behind and demanded that he empty his pockets and not look back. The victim gave the robber $40 and two Visa bank cards.

Residential burglary

1200 block of Defoor Village Court, 30318 – A woman reported Nov. 25 someone entered her apartment and stole items valued at $22,765. There were no signs of forced entry, but the victim said the patio door may have been unlocked. The apartment was ransacked, and the burglar took a bottle of orange soda from the refrigerator and left it on the kitchen counter. No fingerprints were found, and police had no suspects.

2500 block of Ridgewood Road, 30318 – A man reported Nov. 28 when he arrived at a residence to clean it, he realized the home had been burglarized. Entry came through the rear door. More than one flat-screen television and a computer were stolen. Police recovered fingerprints.

1700 block of Warren Court, 30318 – A victim was notified by her alarm company Nov. 29 that the alarm in her home had gone off. She called a neighbor, who called police when he found the front door had been kicked in.

2100 block of Bolton Drive, 30318 – The window on the door of a maintenance shed was damaged, entry was made, and a torch set was stolen, it was reported Nov. 28.

1900 block of Brantley Walk Lane, 30318 – An officer reported Nov. 27 an audible alarm went off after the front door of a home was kicked in. The victim said nothing was stolen.

Alden Avenue, 30309 – A woman reported Nov. 23 she returned to her residence around 8 p.m. to find her things had been thrown about and her laptop had been stolen. The burglar entered through an unlocked door on the second floor.

1800 block of Wycliff Road, 30309 – A victim reported Nov. 29 someone broke into the window of her apartment and stole her Apple laptop computer. Police were unable to recover fingerprints.

Residential robbery

900 block of Morris Street, 30318 – A man reported Nov. 29 he heard someone banging on his front door around 3 a.m. When he opened the door, a man wielding a large knife forced his way inside. The robber demanded money, but the victim said he didn’t have any. The robber then went into the bedroom, took a 15-inch LCD television and left on foot. The victim said he recognized the robber and could identify him if he is detained.

Larceny from auto

700 block of Conway Glen Drive, 30327 – A right-side window of a 2003 Land Rover Discovery was broken Nov. 27, and a purse, a Georgia identification card, credit cards and a checkbook were stolen.

3500 block of Northside Parkway, 30327 – A silver Jeep Grand Cherokee was broken into through a window Nov. 24 in the parking lot of Houston’s. A purse and miscellaneous items were stolen.

700 block of Loridans Circle, 30342 – A woman reported Nov. 26 she left her gray 2004 Volkswagen Passat unlocked, and her iPod and purse were taken.

3300 block of Peachtree Road, 30326 – A man reported Nov. 29 someone broke the left-side rear window of his car and stole a black bag containing books.

3900 block of Statewood Road, 30342 – A woman reported Nov. 26 her white 2004 Nissan Xterra was broken into through the passenger-side window, and a Garmin GPS unit and an Apple laptop were stolen.

1000 block of Garden View Drive, 30319 – A victim reported Nov. 23 someone entered his white 1995 Ford Explorer through the rear passenger-door window and stole items.

800 block of Lenox Oaks Circle, 30324 – It was reported Nov. 29 that two vehicles were broken into. Golf clubs were stolen from a silver 2006 Dodge Caravan and a silver 1997 Toyota 4Runner. Police were unable to recover fingerprints because it was raining.

800 block of Sidney Marcus Boulevard, 30324 – A black 2004 Ford F-150 was broken into the night of Nov. 22, and a credit card and driver’s license were stolen. Charges were made to the victim’s credit card.

800 block of Sidney Marcus Boulevard, 30342 – The lock on a silver 2006 Chrysler 300 was damaged, and electronics were stolen from the vehicle.

3000 block of Peachtree Road, 30326 – A victim reported Nov. 28 someone stole $250 in cash from his white 1995 Chevrolet S10. The right-side window was broken.

500 block of Pharr Road, 30305 – A victim reported Nov. 26 his black 2004 Chevrolet Silverado was left in a parking lot for about six hours. When he returned to it, the door lock had been damaged, and $250 worth of property had been stolen. The victim’s wallet, credit card and money were stolen.

3200 block of Peachtree Road, 30305 – A victim reported Nov. 29 he was contacted by security at Embassy Suites and told his vehicle had been broken into. A Garmin GPS unit, Sirius radio, Sony laptop and Canon Powershot camera were stolen.

300 block of Manor Ridge Drive, 30305 – A woman reported Nov. 27 her silver 2003 Mercedes 240 was broken into through the rear window. Credit cards, cash and jewelry worth a total of $800 were stolen.

1100 block of Moores Mill Road, 30327 – The lock on a blue Ford was damaged, and electronics were reported stolen Nov. 24.

1100 block of Moores Mill Road, 30327 – A white 2008 Toyota Highlander was broken into through the rear passenger-side window, and a Tomtom GPS unit and a BlackBerry cellular phone were stolen.

1100 block of Moores Mill Road, 30327 – Electronics, currency and an identification card were stolen from a tan 2004 Chevrolet Tahoe in a parking lot Nov. 25. The lock on the vehicle was damaged.

2400 block of Oldfield Road, 30327 – The window on a Nissan Pathfinder was damaged Nov. 28, and an iPod was stolen.

2400 block of Oldfield Road, 30327 – A wallet containing a credit card and money was stolen from a Chevrolet Tahoe Nov. 28. No signs of forced entry were reported.

Peachtree Battle Avenue, 30305 – The window on a blue Ford was damaged Nov. 24, and clothing and electronics were reported stolen.
