The Sandy Springs/Perimeter Chamber of Commerce will present its 2009 Small Business of the Year, Fast Business and Community Service awards April 20 at the organization’s Bagels & Business meeting from 7:30 to 9 a.m. at the Westin Atlanta North hotel, 7 Concourse Parkway, Sandy Springs.
The 2009 Small Business of the Year Award and Runner-Up Award are sponsored by B2B CFO, which provides chief financial officer services to small and midsize businesses. The Sandy Springs business nominees for this year’s awards are Bean Head Toys, Fido Fido Dog Daycare, Lefko Group real estate, Nancy G’s Cafe and Flavor Cafe.
The nominees for the 2009 Fast Business Award, which is sponsored by Comcast, are Firefly Creative communications agency, which has been in business since 1969, and Trio Media Group, a public relations firm that has been in business since 2004.
The three nominees for the 2009 Community Service Award, which is sponsored by Keller Williams Realty, are SR Walker Designs, a graphic design firm that works primarily with nonprofit organizations; Kai Med Spa, a specialized spa in CityWalk; and the Sandy Springs Reporter.
The monthly Bagels & Business meetings are free for members who RSVP in advance to jenny@sandysprings.org. Members who fail to RSVP in advance are charged $5 at the door. Guests are welcome for a fee of $15.
