TriServ Alliance, a health care consortium hoping to land a multibillion-dollar government contract, reportedly has scouted office locations across the Central Perimeter market, including buildings around Perimeter Mall and Sandy Springs, for an Atlanta headquarters.

TriServ could bring 700-plus jobs.

The consortium, which wants to sign a lease based on the likelihood it will get the government job, has checked out Ackerman & Co.’s 9000 Central Park and the former Macy’s offices at 223 and 219 Perimeter Center Place.

TriServ is a Jacksonville, Fla.-based group of health plans from eight states that joined forces a year ago to pursue a six-year, $24 billion Department of Defense contract to manage the health care plan for military personnel, retirees and dependents in the South.
