The Fulton County Board of Commissioners will hold its Aug. 19 meeting at the North Fulton Service Center, 7741 Roswell Road, Sandy Springs. The meeting begins at 7 p.m.
On June 3, the Board of Commissioners adopted a resolution calling for meetings in north and south Fulton in an effort to make the county’s proceedings more accessible to residents. The board typically meets twice monthly on Wednesdays at 10 a.m. at the Fulton County Government Center in downtown Atlanta.
The June 3 resolution calls for two meetings to be held in North Fulton, as a pilot program to determine future feasibility of meetings held in locations other than the Government Center.
