At a loss for a good way to let summer go out with a bang?  Head over to Turner Field on Sept. 12 for Atlanta BBQ Fest, a celebration full of food, fun, and friends.

The festival will take place at the Turner Field Green Parking Lot between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m.

There will be live performances from various musical groups, including the Running Wild Band, Antonia Lawrence, Neil Cooper, Riki Brooks, and more.  In addition, the event will feature a kids zone and a Pro Division BBQ competition.  The winner of the competition will get to sell his or her BBQ at a Braves game during the 2010 season. Braves legend Otis Nixon will be on hand to autograph copies of his book, The Catch.
