The Peachtree Road Farmers Market is holding a special event on Saturday, Oct. 17, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. to help raise funds for local farmers who had their crops damaged or destroyed during the recent floods. Jim ‘N Nick’s Bar-B-Q will be onsite serving up lip-smacking good barbecue with 100 percent of the profits going to the Peachtree Road Farmer Fund. Sandwiches will be $10 and include lemonade. There will also be live music and the regular Saturday market offerings. Les Dames d’Escoffier will also be holding its culinary yard sale. The market is held in the parking lot of The Cathedral of St. Philip, 2744 Peachtree Road in Buckhead. www.peachtreeroadfarmersmarket.com.
