The 2009 Work of Our Hands Artists’ Market will take place this Thursday, Nov. 19, through Sunday, Nov. 22.  Many local and regional artists will gather to display and sell their work.  The items to be sold will come from all price ranges, and will include pottery, weaving, woodturning, painting, stained glass, photography, jewelry, quilts, cards, wood carving, Christmas ornaments, and many other handmade and unique gifts.

The Opening Reception for the event will be held on Thursday at 5:30 p.m.  The show and sale will begin on Friday at 9 a.m. and continue until 5 p.m.  The hours are the same on Saturday, but on Sunday the market will close at 1:30 p.m.

Proceeds from the event will benefit the Emmaus House Community Art Project and Friendship House Art Center at the Church of the Holy Comforter.  The Work of Our Hands Artists’ Market will be held at the Cathedral of St. Philip, 2744 Peachtree Road NW, Atlanta, 30327.
