Survey work begins on Roswell Road

The city of Sandy Springs has begun performing field surveys to prepare for a project involving a streetscape along Roswell Road from Meadowbrook to Long Island drives. The LPA Group and their sub-consultant Long Engineering began the work the week of Dec. 7.

During the course of the surveys, it may be necessary for some stakes to be driven in the ground and for some small trees and undergrowth along the right-of-way to be cleared to provide for the work. However, there will be no damage to fruit or nut trees, shrubs, flowers, or crops by survey personnel during the progress of this work.

For questions about the project, contact Greg Ramsey, PE, Capital Improvement Program Project Manager, with the City of Sandy Springs at (770) 730-5600. For specific questions relating to field surveys, please contact Tim Slaton, RLS, (770) 951-2495 with Long Engineering.
