The Westside Arts District 3rd Saturday Art Walk is Dec. 19 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. As usual, there will be special events and talks, not to mention an opportunity to purchase some artistic work for the holidays.

Here’s some of the special events happening during the walk:

  • Atlanta Contemporary Art Center Artistic Director Stuart Horodner leads a tour through More Mergers & Acquisitions, featuring several Atlanta artists in combination with modern master works borrowed from area collections.
  • Atlanta artist, Katherine Mitchell, will discuss her recent exhibition at Sandler Hudson Gallery entitled, Correspondences, Conversations and Texts.
  • The Emily Amy Gallery will have a Winter Salon featuring new small works, studies and works on paper from the current stable of gallery artists.
  • Octane Coffee will presents its annual staff art show, an eclectic show featuring various Octane staff, former employees, and close friends.
