Disturbing the peace
2400 block of Skyland Way – An arrest for disorderly conduct was made Dec. 24 at 3:45 p.m.
3800 block of Peachtree Road – An arrest for disorderly conduct was made Dec. 14 at 12:35 a.m. \
1000 block of Lenox Park Boulevard – An arrest was made for public intoxication Jan. 2 at 3:32 a.m.
3500 block of Buford Highway – An arrest was made for public intoxication Jan. 5 at 2:06 a.m.

Homicide
A Jan.3 shooting at a Buford Highway apartment building left two men dead after they were transported to Grady Memorial Hospital in critical condition.
Omar Antonio Orellana, 25, and Jose Aleman both died at Grady following the shooting, which took place around 9 p.m. at the Tempo Majestic Apartments, located at 3659 Buford Hwy, on the southern edge of Brookhaven. Another victim, Reina Martinez, 30, was struck on the head with an object but was in stable condition.
The shooting was a domestic-related incident, and the victims knew the shooter, said DeKalb County Police Department spokeswoman Mekka Parish. Police have identified and secured warrants for one suspect, Felix Diego Rivaz, and are investigating another suspect who may have also been involved. No arrests had been made as of press time.
