The following information was provided to the Reporter by the Zone 2 precinct of the Atlanta Police Department from its records and is presumed to be accurate.

Aggravated assault

900 block of Canterbury Road – A woman said a man assaulted her at 9 p.m. Jan. 30 at the Overlook at Lindbergh.

1700 block of Northside Drive – A woman is accused of hitting a man in the head with a shoe at a bar at 11:30 p.m. Jan. 29.

Robbery

900 block of Collier Road – A man was walking along the sidewalk at 9:20 p.m. Jan. 28 when three men approached him, pulled out a handgun and took his Apple iPod.

Burglary

3500 block of Northside Parkway – An employee discovered pry marks on the rear door of West Stride at 10 p.m. Jan. 27, but the prying had failed to gain entry to the store.

1200 block of West Conway Drive – The copper wiring and pipes were stolen from a vacant apartment with an unlocked back door between Jan. 22 and 26.

400 block of Buckhead Avenue – A video game system and games, a laptop computer, and a smart phone were stolen from an apartment Jan. 16. There was no forced entry.

3300 block of Roswell Road – A window was broken at Gramercy at Buckhead at 4:20 a.m. Jan. 29, and a television was stolen.

2700 block of Alpine Road – Someone broke into a home through a side wall and stole copper wiring and pipes between Jan. 2 and 26.

1100 block of Collier Road – A woman’s wallet was taken from her home after she left the door unlocked while walking her dog Jan. 24.

Unit block of Glenald Way – A video game system and a computer bag were stolen from a home during the day Jan. 27.

1800 block of Howell Mill Road – Lane Bryant was broken into at 10:20 p.m. Jan. 27, and the store was rummaged through. An alarm sounded earlier in the night, but security checked the store and found nothing.

100 block of Noble Creek Drive – Two men stole a flat-screen television from the gym at the Collier Ridge Apartments around 10 p.m. Jan. 25.

1700 block of Northside Drive – Officers responded to an alarm at Little Azio at 12:45 a.m. Jan. 29 and found a door pried open and change scattered around the cash register. It was unclear what, if anything, was stolen.

1900 block of La Dawn Lane – The back door to a house was kicked in between 3:30 and 4:30 p.m. Jan. 25, and a laptop computer, a desktop computer, a flat-screen television, a camera and a video game system were stolen.

200 block of 26th Street – Three men were seen stealing a camera, two flat-screen televisions, an MP3 player and a video game system from an apartment just after 4:30 p.m. Jan. 27.

2000 block of Peachtree Road – A video game system was stolen from an apartment Jan. 30. There were no signs of forced entry.

Larceny from auto

100 block of West Wieuca Road – A window was broken out a black 2008 Honda Element parked at Chastain Park from 2 to 4:30 p.m. Jan. 27, and a woman’s purse was stolen.

3300 block of Peachtree Road – A window was broken out of a black 2008 Suzuki SX4 outside On the Border restaurant from 7 to 8:15 p.m. Jan. 25, and a laptop computer, a computer bag, a Rolex watch and a digital camera were stolen.

3800 block of Roswell Road – A window was broken out of a white 2008 Toyota Tundra between 12:30 and 1:50 p.m. Jan. 29, and a laptop computer was stolen.

Adina and Cosmopolitan drives – A window was broken out of a red 2007 Mini Cooper overnight Jan. 28, and a phone charger and a pair of sunglasses were taken.

700 block of Cosmopolitan Drive – The rims were stolen off a black 2005 Chevrolet Avalanche at the Cosmopolitan at Lindbergh between 5:30 p.m. Jan. 24 and 8:45 a.m. Jan. 26.

Adina and Cosmopolitan drives – A window was broken out of a black 2008 Ford F-150, and a drill and a pair of work shoes were stolen.

1000 block of Lenox Park Boulevard – A GPS unit was stolen from a gray 2000 Chevrolet overnight Jan. 26.

2300 block of Parkland Drive – A window was broken out of a tan 1993 Honda Accord overnight Jan. 25 at the Sorrel Apartments, and a car radio was stolen.

3300 block of Peachtree Road – A 2008 Ford F-150 was left unlocked from noon to 3:30 p.m. Jan. 24, and a GPS unit, a 15-round magazine of 9mm ammunition, a satellite receiver and security badges were stolen.

2500 block of Piedmont Road – Someone smashed a vehicle’s rear window overnight Jan. 25 and stole a laptop computer left on the back seat.

2500 block of Piedmont Road – A bus driver accidentally left his wallet in the rear of the bus the morning of Jan. 30, and one of the passengers took it.

2900 block of Peachtree Road – A window was broken out of a maroon 2005 Chevrolet Tahoe between 10:20 and 10:40 a.m. Jan. 29 at the Peach Shopping Center, and cigars were stolen.

3200 block of Peachtree Road – Two Geek Squad cars, both white 2005 Chevrolets, were broken into between 1 and 1:30 p.m. Jan. 29 at Buckhead Crossing, and a GPS unit, a laptop computer and two book bags were stolen.

200 block of Pharr Road – A Winchester 20-gauge shotgun and shells and a GPS unit were stolen from a gold 2004 GMC Sierra between 9:30 and 10 a.m. Jan. 24 at the Eclipse Condominiums.

2900 block of Pharr Court South – The lock to the trunk of a gray 2006 Ford Mustang was popped the night of Jan. 28, and a fur coat and music mixing board were stolen.

3400 block of Piedmont Road – A checkbook and briefcase were stolen from a tan 2005 Chevrolet between 8 and 9 p.m. Jan. 25.

3000 block of Piedmont Road – The license plate was stolen off a gray 2006 Hyundai and replaced by another vehicle’s plate between Jan. 23 and 27.

400 block of Lindbergh Drive – Someone entered an unlocked blue 2003 Mazda Protege overnight Jan. 28 and stole a storage bin containing cookware and CDs.

200 block of Pharr Road – A computer bag was stolen out of a blue 2006 Lexus IS3 between 6 and 9 p.m. Jan. 26.

Piedmont and Peachtree roads – Two laptop computers were stolen from a 1999 GMC Yukon between 8:30 and 9 p.m. Jan. 25.

2200 block of Noble Creek Drive – The license plate was stolen off a blue 2007 Chevrolet Trailblazer on Jan. 30.

1400 block of Chattahoochee Avenue – A GPS unit and cash were stolen from a silver 2006 Ford Expedition on Jan. 27.

1400 block of Howell Mill Road – A wallet, a leather jacket and a tool box were stolen from a gray 2006 Chevrolet Express overnight Jan. 28.

1100 block of Howell Mill Road – A window was broken out of a 1997 Nissan Altima on Jan. 29, and clothes and shoes were stolen.

100 block of 26th                                                  Street – A window was smashed out of a 2007 Dodge Caliber on Jan. 30, and an MP3 player and a GPS unit were stolen.

500 block of Northside Circle – The license plate was stolen off a vehicle and replaced with another stolen plate early Jan. 29.

1900 block of Peachtree Road – A vehicle was broken into Jan. 24 or 25 outside Piedmont Hospital, and two suitcases were stolen. Among the items in the luggage were two video game systems, a DVD player and credit cards.

1800 block of Peachtree Road – A purse was stolen from a black 2007 Chevrolet sport utility vehicle between 4:30 and 5:30 p.m. Jan. 25.

1700 block of Peachtree Street – A window was broken out of a gray 2000 Nissan Pathfinder overnight Jan. 27 at the Huntington Arms Condominiums, and a laptop computer was taken.

1700 block of Peachtree Street – A window was broken out of a silver 2006 Chevrolet Trailblazer around 1:30 p.m. Jan. 29 at Mellow Mushroom, and a laptop computer was stolen.

Unit block of Peachtree Valley Road – A laptop computer and a watch were stolen from a vehicle that was ransacked between Jan. 22 and 24. Blood was found inside the vehicle.

Auto theft

4000 block of Whitewater Creek Road – A woman’s four-wheel all-terrain vehicle was stolen from her back yard Jan. 24 or 25.

700 block of Lindbergh Drive – A 2006 Chevrolet Equinox was stolen from a parking lot Jan. 24 after the keys were left with the locked vehicle.

700 block of Miami Circle – A white 1996 Ford Econoline van was stolen overnight Jan. 27.

2500 block of Piedmont Road – A gray 1997 Ford Taurus was stolen overnight Jan. 28 at the Lindbergh Vista.

3000 block of Piedmont Road – A white 2008 Pontiac G6 belonging to U-Save Car Rental was stolen at 9 p.m. Jan. 25 outside the Fairfield Inn after the driver left the keys in the car while he went inside for a few minutes.

2200 block of Bolton Drive – A green 2000 Dodge Caravan was stolen around 12:45 p.m. Jan. 30 at Midtown West.

2400 block of Claude Street – The ignition switch on a green 2006 Dodge Stratus was damaged in an apparent attempt to steal the vehicle between 6 and 7 p.m. Jan. 28.

Other larceny

3500 block of Peachtree Road – A man was arrested after trying to steal two wallets at Belk at 4 p.m. Jan. 24.

3500 block of Peachtree Road – A man stole a stereo system from Brookstone at 2:30 p.m. Jan. 25.

3800 block of Wieuca Road – Workout equipment and a bicycle were among items stolen from a driveway around 5:45 p.m. Jan. 30.

3600 block of Kingsboro Road – A vibrating plate compactor went missing from a back yard between Jan. 25 and 27.

3300 block of Peachtree Road – A man stole four or five pairs of jeans from Macy’s and escaped the store just after 8 p.m. Jan. 26.

3300 block of Peachtree Road – Two 15-year-old boys were arrested at Hollister & Co. after trying to steal $23 in merchandise at 3:45 p.m. Jan. 30.

2500 block of Piedmont Road – A man was arrested after being stopped from stealing $2 in merchandise from Home Depot just after noon Jan. 25.

2700 block of Shady Valley Drive – A laptop computer was taken from an apartment Jan. 25.

Unit block of Peachtree Way – A projector was taken from Christ the King School between Jan. 22 and 24.

1800 block of Howell Mill Road – A shoplifter took items worth $65.67 from Walmart at 3:30 p.m. Jan. 24.

1800 block of Howell Mill Road – A man was arrested at Walmart at 11:30 p.m. Jan. 25 after trying to steal merchandise by packing it into Walmart bags he brought into the store.

1800 block of Howell Mill Road – A shoplifter was arrested at Walmart at 7:30 p.m. Jan. 27.

1800 block of Howell Mill Road – Police caught two men in a foot chase after the men were seen stealing $165 worth of clothing from Walmart late Jan. 30.

2000 block of Bolton Road – A man stole a case of beer from Chevron at 6:30 a.m. Jan. 30.

1400 block of Ellsworth Industrial Boulevard – A woman said her ID and credit cards were stolen from her purse at work the morning of Jan. 26.

1000 block of Huff Road – Two men were arrested and charged with trying to steal pipes and metal rods from the construction site of the Alexan Metro West Apartments on Jan. 30.

1800 block of MacArthur Boulevard – An air-conditioning unit was stolen from the PSKB building overnight Jan. 27.

200 block of 26th Street – A woman reported Jan. 25 that her TV, DVD player, radio and jacket are missing from her apartment. She suspects a former roommate took them.

400 block of Plasters Avenue – A woman said a credit card was stolen from her purse Jan. 23, probably when one man inquired about a job while another man who arrived with him asked to use the restroom. The credit card later was used several times.
