Dr. LaShawn McMillan and Sandra Sanders of Cross Keys High School will be briefing Brookhaven Community Connection members and guests on renovations and achievements at the school during the organization’s breakfast meeting April 13.

Among the new programs at the school is the DeKalb Career Technology program, which has moved to the school. This program teaches computer technology, health sciences technology, dental technology, and other career programs. The school has a competitive robotics team.

The program will also highlight some of the accolades being earned by this year’s senior class at the school, including a top incoming freshman at Georgia Tech, the Gozuieta Foundation Scholarship for an incoming freshman at Agnes Scott, a Gates Millenium National Finalist, the county Science Fair winner and the county Reading Bowl Champs.

The BCC meets at the Hudson Grille restaurant, 4046 Peachtree Road, N.E., beginning at 8 a.m.
