Memorial DayIt’s a long holiday weekend, and there’s dozens of events happening Intown. Here’s some weekend highlights:

The Decatur Arts Festival is today and tomorrow in and around the Decatur Square with art, music, food and more.

WonderRoot Community Arts Center on Memorial Drive celebrates its two-year anniversary party, noon to 8 p.m.

Brew at the Zoo beer and wine festival helps raise funds for Zoo Atlanta and kicks off at 5:30 p.m.

The Atlanta Jazz Festival is back in Piedmont Park today and tomorrow with performances by Spyrogyra and a tribute to Miles Davis among other cool offerings.

The  3rd Annual Rockin’ Blues, Brews and BBQ Fest is  2 to 10 p.m. at Park Tavern on the corner of 10th and Monroe Drive.

An afternoon baseball game at Turner Field might be just the ticket for sports enthusiasts as the Atlanta Braves take on the Pittsburgh Pirates. First pitch is at 1:35 p.m.

Memorial Day is about remembering America’s soldiers, and Stone Mountain is pulling out all the stops for A Salute to the Troops. Active duty personnel and veterans get free admission to the park and special savings for the family. Check out all the attractions and be sure to stay for an extra-patriotic Laser Show on the face of the mountain.
