The following information was provided to the Reporter by the Zone 2 precinct of the Atlanta Police Department from its records and is presumed to be accurate.

Aggravated assault

4000 block of Roswell Road – During a traffic dispute about 8:30 p.m. June 27, a man in an ice cream truck pulled a handgun on a woman and said he should shoot her for cutting him off. He then drove away without pulling the trigger.

2400 block of Peachtree Road – A man repeatedly drove his vehicle into another occupied vehicle without any warning in a parking garage at 4:45 a.m. July 3.

2800 block of Peachtree Road – A man got drunk and got into an argument with someone, then attacked another person shortly after 1 p.m. July 3. The victim suffered a badly swollen eye.

600 block of Norfleet Drive – An argument resulted in one person striking the other in the face June 27 at 2:30 p.m.

1100 block of Howell Mill Road – A man reported that while he and another person were buying marijuana June 30, they were held at gunpoint and ordered to purchase a large amount of drugs with counterfeit money, then were struck with the handle of a gun. Police recovered $19,540.

Robbery

600 block of Garson Drive – Two men accosted a woman walking through her apartment’s parking deck at 3:45 a.m. June 26. They threw a pillow over her face and threatened to shoot her, then left with her purse and a duffel bag containing other personal items.

500 block of Pharr Road – Two men left a bar and flagged down a taxi around 4 a.m. July 1. The cabdriver said he could get them girls for the night for the right price. The men negotiated over the price for nearly two hours. At that point, the driver said he had a gun. He took the passengers’ money, threw them out and drove away.

Burglary

1500 block of Paran Glen Road – A laptop computer, a camera, a flat-screen television and a checkbook were stolen from a home after the front door was kicked in June 29.

600 block of Broadland Road – A flat-screen television, a desktop computer and a 12-inch television were stolen from a house June 29 or 30.

4500 block of East Brookhaven Drive – All the appliances were stolen from a house between June 22 and 29.

4300 block of Roswell Road – A television, a DVD player, cash and jewelry were among items stolen from a home June 29. The resident came home to find the front and patio doors open, but there were no signs of forced entry.

3500 block of Roxboro Road – A home was ransacked midday June 27, and a weapon and lots of cash were among the items stolen.

400 block of Lindbergh Place – Someone broke an apartment window with a rock and stole several items between June 25 and July 3.

2200 block of Shenandoah Avenue – The front door to a home was kicked in June 29, and many items were stolen.

1100 block of Collier Road – Electronics were stolen from an apartment July 2.

1100 block of Davis Place – Electronics were stolen from a home July 3.

2500 block of Hyde Manor Drive – A home was broken into through the rear door June 29, and some items were taken.

1900 block of La Dawn Lane – Some items were moved and others were stolen inside an apartment June 27.

500 block of Northside Circle – Several items and several bags of items were stolen from an apartment July 1.

Larceny from auto

3600 block of Tuxedo Road – Tools were stolen from a vehicle parked at home July 2.

2400 block of Chastain Drive – A Georgia license plate was stolen off a vehicle overnight June 26.

2100 block of Chastain Drive – A GPS unit was stolen from a vehicle overnight June 28.

2300 block of Chastain Drive – A window was broken out of a vehicle June 29, and the interior was ransacked.

Unit block of Old Ivy Road – A window was broken out a vehicle between Feb. 28 and June 28, and items were taken.

3500 block of Peachtree Road – A shopping bag and other items were stolen from a vehicle June 30 between 8 and 9:15 p.m.

3300 block of Peachtree Road – The car radio was stolen from a vehicle overnight July 1.

3300 block of Peachtree Road – A window was broken out of a vehicle overnight July 2, and a laptop computer was stolen.

3300 block of Piedmont Road – A 2000 Mercedes-Benz and a 2008 Nissan Frontier were broken into outside Fork & Movie between 8 and 10:30 p.m. July 1. A laptop computer, a digital camera and an MP3 player were among the items stolen from the Mercedes, and a DVD player and a handheld video game were taken from the Nissan.

4300 block of Roswell Road – Tools were stolen from a work vehicle July 2.

700 block of Cosmopolitan Drive – Several vehicles were broken into inside a gated parking garage overnight June 29. Laptop computers and other electronics were stolen.

3200 block of Lenox Road – Items were stolen from a vehicle overnight June 29.

2300 block of Parkland Drive – Multiple vehicles were broken into at a garage between 5 p.m. June 28 and 7:30 a.m. June 29.

2600 block of Piedmont Road – A laptop computer and a camera were stolen from a gray 2010 Chevrolet Silverado between 3 and 3:45 p.m. June 29.

900 block of West Paces Ferry Road – A computer was stolen from a vehicle between 3 and 3:38 p.m. June 29.

300 block of Alberta Terrace – The license plate was stolen from a vehicle June 15. The victim reported the crime July 2.

100 block of East Andrews Drive – A GPS unit was stolen from a 2010 Mazda on June 26 or 27.

3200 block of Habersham Road – Several leaf blowers were stolen from a truck while the owner did yard work the afternoon of July 2.

3100 block of Peachtree Road – An MP3 player was stolen from a 2007 Honda Civic late June 30 or early July 1.

3100 block of Peachtree Road – A laptop computer and several purses were stolen from a vehicle July 1.

200 block of Pharr Road – Jewelry and a purse were stolen from a black 2005 Hummer the morning of June 28.

2900 block of Pharr Court South – The windows were broken out of several vehicles in a lot July 2, and multiple items were stolen.

2900 block of Pharr Court South – Several items were stolen from a vehicle between June 30 and July 2.

3200 block of Roswell Road – A window was broken out of a vehicle July 1 or 2, and a set of golf clubs, an MP3 player and a pair of shoes were stolen.

600 block of Garson Drive – A car radio was stolen between 7 a.m. July 1 and 7 a.m. July 2.

300 block of Lindbergh Drive – A vehicle was broken into overnight June 30, and items were taken.

400 block of Lindbergh Place – A wallet, a GPS unit and other items were stolen from a 2010 Hyundai Sonata on June 27.

2800 block of Peachtree Road – Several items were stolen from a vehicle late June 30.

3100 block of Peachtree Road – A woman parked her vehicle at Jeanne’s Body Tech at 6 a.m. July 2, and when she returned about an hour later, she found a window broken out and her purse missing.

100 block of West Paces Ferry Road – A side mirror went missing from a vehicle June 28 or 29.

1100 block of Moores Mill Road – A wallet was stolen from a white 2002 GMC Yukon in the YMCA parking lot June 29.

2100 block of Northside Drive – A purse and other items were stolen from a vehicle June 29.

400 block of Redland Road – Tools were stolen from the back of a truck June 20.

300 block of Woodward Way – A briefcase was stolen from a black 2010 Nissan Maxima on June 29.

300 block of Woodward Way – A briefcase was stolen from a black 2000 Ford F-150 the evening of June 29.

300 block of Woodward Way – A window was broken out of a black 2000 Nissan sport-utility vehicle parked at the Bobby Jones Golf Course from 5 to 9 p.m. June 30, and a laptop computer was stolen.

1700 block of Commerce Drive – A laptop computer was taken from a vehicle left unlocked June 28.

1800 block of Howell Mill Road – A vehicle was broken into June 27, and several items were taken.

1900 block of Howell Mill Road – A woman left her vehicle at Goodyear on July 1, and when she returned the next morning, a diamond ring was missing. Goodyear employees said they did not find a ring.

1800 block of Howell Mill Road – A window was broken out of a vehicle between 3 and 4 p.m. July 2, and electronics were stolen.

2000 block of Marietta Boulevard – Several items were stolen from a vehicle parked at Mikart the morning of June 26.

1200 block of Tacoma Drive – Several boxes of beer were stolen from a truck June 27.

1700 block of Northside Drive – A window was broken out of a vehicle outside Tiffany’s between 11:30 p.m. July 2 and 1:15 a.m. July 3, and items including a 9mm handgun were stolen.

Parkdale Way and Wakefield Drive – A purse was stolen from a vehicle between 4 and 5 p.m. July 1.

1800 block of Peachtree Road – A man returned to his vehicle at 1:30 p.m. June 30 to find a door unlocked, the center radio area pulled out, and his Glock handgun missing.

Auto theft

700 block of Miami Circle – A vehicle was broken into between June 25 and 28, and the culprit caused extensive damage to the steering wheel in an apparent effort to steal the vehicle.

2100 block of Piedmont Road – A van was stolen from U-Haul overnight June 27, and parts were stolen off other vehicles at the company lot.

800 block of Sidney Marcus Boulevard – A 1997 Chevrolet pickup truck was stolen from the parking deck of the Country Inn & Suites on July 2.

200 block of Buckhead Avenue – A 2004 Honda Accord was stolen from a parking lot overnight between 11:30 p.m. June 30 and 12:15 a.m. July 1.

3200 block of Mathieson Drive – A car was stolen overnight June 29.

300 block of Pharr Road – A woman failed to return a silver 2010 Kia Optima to Avis after renting the car May 14. Avis reported the car stolen June 30.

500 block of Main Street – A green 2000 Dodge Caravan was stolen overnight June 27.

500 block of Main Street – A man tricked a valet into believing that a blue 2010 Honda Accord was his early July 1, but a Georgia State Police trooper pulled the vehicle over and arrested the thief.

100 block of Biscayne Drive – A 1999 Chrysler Concorde was used in a smash-and-grab theft, and when police went to the home of the owner June 30, she realized the car had been stolen.

Other larceny

3500 block of Peachtree Road – A shoplifter was arrested at Nordstrom at 10:30 a.m. June 30.

3500 block of Peachtree Road – A man was arrested at Belk after trying to steal several items at 3:30 p.m. July 3.

3300 block of Peachtree Road – A bag of swimwear was stolen from a store at 6 p.m. June 26.

3300 block of Peachtree Road – A shoplifter was arrested at Macy’s around 3 p.m. June 28.

3300 block of Peachtree Road – A shoplifter was arrested at Bloomingdale’s at 8:30 p.m. June 28.

3300 block of Peachtree Road – Video surveillance captured a shopper hiding merchandise at Bloomingdale’s at 5:30 p.m. July 1.

3300 block of Peachtree Road – A would-be shoplifter was caught at 1 p.m. July 2.

2600 block of Piedmont Road – A man left his phone on a table at Chinese Buffet at 2 p.m. June 27, and when he returned a few minutes later, the phone was gone.

2600 block of Piedmont Road – Someone stole a shirt from Marshall’s around 2 p.m. July 1.

2600 block of Piedmont Road – A shoplifter was caught at Marshall’s at 2 p.m. July 1 while an officer was at the store to take a report on an earlier theft.

Unit block of Andrews Drive – A woman’s purse was stolen at a nightclub late July 2.

Unit block of Andrews Drive – Two women gave a man a ride back to their apartment from a club at 2:30 a.m. June 27, then drove him back. He discovered that his cellphone and bank cards were missing.

3200 block of Peachtree Road – A person entered Marshall’s just before 10 a.m. July 1, walked to the back, grabbed a bunch of shirts and fled through an emergency exit.

3000 block of Pharr Court North – A woman had two people she knew helping her move July 3. During the move, she fell asleep, and when she awoke, several items were missing from her apartment.

3000 block of Piedmont Road – A woman left her briefcase outside Enterprise Rent-a-Car while she went inside to conduct her business around 6 p.m. June 29. While she was inside, she saw a man grab her briefcase and run.

500 block of Main Street – A woman left her purse in her desk June 28, and while she was away from the desk, someone took $200 from the purse.

2600 block of Peachtree Road – A work trailer with tools inside was stolen from a construction site over the weekend between 5 p.m. June 25 and 7 a.m. June 28.

3300 block of Peachtree Road – A bag of personal items was taken from a meeting room at a hotel June 30.

2900 block of Peachtree Road – Two bicycles were stolen from a rack in front of Fitness Resource on June 28 or 29.

Unit block of Wesley Road – A woman gave a man her fence and money to turn the fence into furniture but hasn’t been able to get the fence, the furniture or the money from the man since mid-2008. She reported the case to police June 28.

1800 block of Peachtree Road – Money orders left at Texaco were stolen just after 10 a.m. July 1, and an officer caught the suspect in the theft a few minutes later and made an arrest.

1800 block of Howell Mill Road – A shoplifter was arrested at Walmart with $29 worth of goods just before 5 p.m. June 27.

1800 block of Howell Mill Road – A man was arrested at 4 p.m. June 28 after trying to steal items at Walmart by hiding them in a garbage can.

1800 block of Howell Mill Road – A shoplifter was arrested at Walmart at 2:45 p.m. June 29.

1800 block of Howell Mill Road – Two women were arrested at Walmart at 4:15 p.m. June 30 after trying to steal clothing.

1800 block of Howell Mill Road – A woman was arrested for attempting to steal items from Walmart the night of July 2.

1800 block of Howell Mill Road – A man was arrested after trying to steal batteries from Walmart around 7:30 p.m. July 3.

1300 block of Boyd Avenue – A man said he was injured checking a job for the company he worked for in February, and he left his tools. He said the company wouldn’t give the tools to a family member he sent to get them, and when he went to get them himself June 28, the tools were gone.

1600 block of Ellsworth Industrial Boulevard – A woman said her computer was stolen from her desk July 1.

2200 block of Paul Avenue – A man said checks were stolen from his mailbox and cashed June 27.
