The following information was provided to the Reporter by the Zone 2 precinct of the Atlanta Police Department from its records and is presumed to be accurate.

Aggravated assault

200 block Triumph Drive – A man stated that Aug. 8 a friend pulled a knife on him, then left. The man sustained bruises.

3000 block Slaton Drive – While intoxicated, a man on Aug. 8 hit his friend in the face with an iron in an attempt to start a fight with him. The suspect left before police arrived.

300 block Brentwood Terrace – A man got into a dispute with his girlfriend on Aug. 10; she hit him in the face and threatened him with a knife. The man ran out of the house to a neighbor’s, and his girlfriend was arrested.

1100 block Collier Road – A man hit another man in the face with an unopened can of beer Aug. 12. The victim’s girlfriend grabbed a knife and stabbed the suspect. The suspect and the girlfriend were arrested.

Robbery

4400 block Roswell Road – A man entered a bank Aug. 11 and presented a note demanding money. He fled and was later arrested and picked out of a lineup by a teller.

3300 block Lenox Place – A man was robbed of $300 Aug. 2 and later woke up in the hospital with an eye injury.

1900 block Howell Mill Road – On Aug. 13 two men approached a woman in a restaurant parking lot and snatched her purse, then fled.

2000 block Bolton Road – A man leaving a convenience store Aug. 13 was confronted by a man with a gun, who ordered the victim to lead him to the safe. An altercation ensued and the weapon was knocked out of the suspect’s hand, after which the suspect fled on foot. The victim sustained injuries to the face and head.

Burglary

1200 block Beechwood Hills Court – A man returned home Aug. 9 and discovered that teens had been accessing his house through a broken window and having parties. Damage was done, but nothing was stolen.

3500 block Knollwood Drive – A woman arrived home Aug. 9 and found a front-window screen damaged.

5100 block Arbor Gates Drive – A man came home Aug. 12 and found his door damaged and several electronic items stolen.

2800 block Elliot Circle – Someone broke a window in the front door Aug. 9, cutting himself or herself in the process. The person did not gain entry to the residence.

3700 block Peachtree Road – A man returned home to find that between Aug. 11 and 13, his back door was kicked in and several items taken, including a passport and iPod.

600 block Garson Drive – A man came home Aug. 9 to find his rear door kicked in. A computer had been stolen.

2900 block Hardman Court – On Aug. 9, responding to an alarm, police found the rear door of the business had been forced open. The owner said $500 had been stolen.

800 block Northcliffe Drive – Police responding to an alarm Aug. 14 found the back door kicked in. When the owner arrived, she said several items had been taken.

30 block Cantey Place – Someone on Aug. 14 pried the front door open, but nothing was stolen.

20 block Chaumont Square – A woman returned home from work Aug. 12 and noticed that her front door was unlocked. She said that someone could have reached inside the mail slot on the door to unlock the door and gain entry. An iPod, jewelry and handbags were stolen.

2100 block Hollywood Road – Locks were pried from storage units and several pieces of landscaping and construction hardware stolen between Aug. 11 and 12.

1400 block Howell Mill Road – Employees arriving in the morning on Aug. 12 found the front-door glass broken and two cash registers empty, with about $400 missing.

1900 block Sumter Street – Between Aug. 4 and 9, when the victim was in the hospital for a medical procedure, the side door of his residence was kicked in and laptops, clothes and law equipment taken.

200 block 26th Street – A man returned home Aug. 9 to find that a rear window had been broken and a laptop and camera  stolen.

500 block Northside Circle – A man returned home Aug. 9 to find several gaming systems and a TV gone, with no signs of forced entry.

400 block Northside Circle – A window was pried open and several items were taken Aug. 14.

1300 block Northside Drive – A woman reported Aug. 3 that items had been stolen from a storage unit in March. The locks had been damaged.

1300 block Northside Drive – Items were stolen from a storage unit sometime between Aug. 8 and 9. The lock on the unit was damaged.

40 block Peachtree Valley Road – A man returned home Aug. 8 and found his back door unlocked and several items stolen, including jewelry, electronics, silverware and furs.

Larceny from auto

1700 block Peachtree Street – A handgun and GPS unit were stolen Aug. 10 from a vehicle. There were no signs of forced entry.

1700 block Peachtree Street – Someone broke into a vehicle Aug. 11 and took a laptop and revolver.

100 block 26th Street – Surveillance cameras showed someone breaking into a vehicle Aug. 11 by popping the door handle. An amplifier and GPS unit were stolen.

400 block Armour Drive – Between Aug. 6 and 8, the tires and rims were stolen from a vehicle.

2100 block James Jackson Parkway – A man reported Aug. 11 the catalytic converter had been cut off his truck.

2000 block Bolton Road – A woman reported Aug. 13 that when she returned to her car after its having been parked for several weeks at a gas station, she found the battery and license plate missing.

400 block Noble Creek Drive – A door was pried open and several items were stolen from a vehicle Aug. 14.

1700 Northside Drive – The car lock was damaged and an iPod stolen Aug. 12.

600 block Peachtree Avenue – The driver’s side window was broken and a purse taken Aug. 12.

2000 block Howell Mill Road – When the owner returned to his car Aug. 10, he found a broken rear window and a briefcase and camera missing.

1900 block Howell Mill Road – A laptop was stolen from a Saab Aug. 12. There was no obvious forced entry.

400 block Pharr Road – The driver’s side window of an Audi was broken Aug. 12 and a purse stolen.

2800 block Peachtree Road – Windows were broken in vehicles Aug. 10 and several items stolen.

3300 block Peachtree Road – A man returned to his late-model Chevy on Aug. 11 to find the driver’s-side key hole and handle damaged and items stolen.

3300 block Peachtree Road – Doors were pried open on two Chevrolets parked in a hotel parking lot Aug. 12 and items stolen, including firearms.

3300 block Peachtree Road – Between Aug. 11 and 13, the lock on a vehicle was broken and a GPS unit stolen.

500 block Main Street – Electronics were stolen from a Honda Civic late Aug. 8 or early Aug. 9. The car’s window had been broken out.

3000 block Piedmont Road – The windows were broken out on a rented Chevrolet Impala late Aug. 7 or early Aug. 8 and a laptop and sunglasses stolen.

3500 Piedmont Road – On Aug. 11 or 12, items including a GPS unit and insurance card were stolen from a Toyota Avalon parked in a garage.

3100 Peachtree Road – Windows were found broken on a vehicle Aug. 14, but nothing appeared to be missing.

3200 block Peachtree Road – The door handle was broken on a Yukon on Aug. 9 and a purse stolen.

3000 Peachtree Road – A window was broken in a vehicle Aug. 12 and several items, including a GPS unit and sunglasses, were stolen.

3200 Peachtree Road – Someone pried the lock open on a vehicle Aug. 13 and took a government-issued credit card.

1100 block Summit North Drive – A laptop was stolen from a truck between Aug. 6 and 9.

3300 Peachtree Road – On Aug. 14, a purse was stolen from a vehicle. There was no obvious sign of forced entry.

4100 block Paran Pines Drive – On Aug. 11, landscaping equipment was stolen from a vehicle parked in front of a home.

3300 block Peachtree Road – Door handles were broken on several vehicles Aug. 9 and credit cards stolen.

3300 block Peachtree Road – A window was broken on a vehicle Aug. 10 and a briefcase containing a laptop stolen.

3300 block Peachtree Road -– The door handle was broken on a vehicle Aug. 10 and a laptop stolen.

2900 block Lenox Road – On Aug. 8, a window was broken and items stolen from a Lexus.

2900 block  Lenox Road – Windows were broken on two vehicles and items stolen Aug. 9.

3300 block Lenox Road – A window was broken and $20 stolen from a vehicle Aug. 11.

3000 block Lenox Road – Three vehicles were broken into Aug. 11 and 12.

2400 block Parkland Drive – The driver’s side window was smashed on a Cadillac Aug. 11 or 12 and four rims stolen.

Auto theft

I-85 south at Peachtree Street – A woman left her motorcycle after it broke down on Aug. 9; it was gone when she returned.

100 block of 26th Street – A vehicle was stolen Aug. 9 from the second level of an apartment building parking deck.

1200 block Logan Circle – A rental truck was stolen late Aug. 11 or early Aug. 12.

600 block Garson Drive – A vehicle was stolen between Aug. 6 and 8. The vehicle was later recovered.

4100 Club Drive – A vehicle was stolen from a driveway between Aug. 12 and 13.

300 block of Pharr Road – A man returned to the parking lot where he had left his motorcycle and found it stolen on Aug 12.

Other larceny

000 block Swarthmore Drive – Mail was stolen from a mailbox between Aug. 7 and 8.

1 Buckhead Loop – A shoplifter was arrested at Old Navy on Aug. 10.

3400 block Buckhead Loop – A shoplifter was arrested at Ulta on Aug. 12.

3100 block Chastain Drive – A woman reported that while she was playing tennis Aug. 9, her purse was stolen.

Parkside Court – While a man was having his car washed Aug. 12, his wallet, which he had left inside the armrest, was stolen. He discovered the theft when he returned home.

3500 block Peachtree Road – An employee’s purse was stolen Aug. 7 or 8 from the restroom of her place of employment, where she usually kept the purse.

3500 block Peachtree Road – The license plate was stolen from a car Aug. 11.

3300 block Peachtree Road – A man stated that a friend stayed overnight Aug. 13 and when he woke he discovered her gone and several items missing.

4300 block Roswell Road – Four chainsaws were taken from Ace Hardware Aug. 8. Bolt cutters were used to cut the wires holding the chainsaws in place.

3800 block Roswell Road – Two items were stolen from a store when a person came in and asked for change for a $100 bill on Aug. 8.

4100 block Wieuca Road – Money was stolen from a woman’s purse Aug. 8.

4500 block Wieuca Road – Plumbing equipment was stolen from outside a home Aug. 14.

900 block East Paces Ferry – Hubcaps were stolen from a vehicle Aug. 11.

500 block Main Street – A woman put her purse down Aug. 11 while at a club and reported that when she went back to pick up her purse, the wallet was missing.

2400 block Parkland Drive – Jewelry was stolen from an apartment on July 14 or 15. There was no obvious forced entry.

3300 block Peachtree Road – Jeans were stolen from Neiman Marcus on Aug. 9.

3300 block Peachtree Road – Several bottles of cologne were stolen from Macy’s Aug. 11.

3300 block Peachtree Road – A shoplifter was arrested at Bloomingdales on Aug. 11.

3300 block Peachtree Road – A shoplifter was arrested at Bloomingdales on Aug. 12.

3300 block Peachtree Road – A woman removed a wallet Aug. 14 from another woman’s purse and attempted to purchase items with the woman’s credit card.

2600 block Piedmont Road – A shoplifter was arrested at Michael’s on Aug. 12.

2500 Piedmont Road – A man concealing a phone inside his clothes Aug. 12, exited the Target store, passing all points of sale before being stopped.

3000 East Shadowlawn Avenue – A person came in and got lash extensions and a facial and left without paying Aug. 10.

3200 Paces Ferry Place A woman reported that a debit card and credit card were stolen Aug. 12 from her purse, which was in her office. The cards were used to purchase gift cards at various stores worth $614.
