The following information was provided to the Reporter by the Zone 2 precinct of the Atlanta Police Department from its records and is presumed to be accurate.
Old Ivy Road – A woman stated that as she got into her car the night of Sept. 1 after leaving a restaurant, a man walked up to her and put a gun to her face. She yelled, and the suspect ran behind the restaurant. Police think the incident was linked to a robbery at the site earlier the same evening.
Saint Claire Lane – A woman reported that she was woken from sleep in the very early hours of Aug. 31 when she heard her bedroom door open. She got out of bed, turned on the light and saw a man, who told her to be quiet and that he had a gun. The women screamed and ran out the back door with her son. A neighbor heard the screams and called police. The suspect ran from the property, after apparently stealing a laptop. The suspect entered through a ground-floor window in the rear of the residence. The screen was removed and the lock broken, and the window appeared to have been pried open.
3300 block Peachtree Road – A woman was leaving Lenox Square on the evening of Sept. 3 when she was accosted by a man who had followed her out of the mall. He made the victim walk to a Gold Toyota Camry and told her to get into the driver’s seat and give him all the money she had. The woman gave him $400 in cash. The victim was then told to walk back to her own vehicle as the suspect and two companions exited the parking deck.
1400 block West Paces Ferry Road – While a woman was pumping gas about 9 in the evening Sept. 1, a man put a gun to her ribs, pushed her into her car and took her wallet and purse after telling her not to scream. The suspect got back into his own vehicle (a silver Lexus) and drove away.
1900 block La Dawn Lane – A woman reported that she saw three or four men running from her home on Aug. 30 with her TV and laptop.
400 block Armour Drive – Someone attempted to break into the game room of a multi-family dwelling early in the morning of Sept. 2.
2800 block Macaw St. – Lawn equipment was stolen from an unsecured garage sometime between Aug. 20 and Aug. 27.
3400 Peachtree Park Drive – A woman reported that she noticed upon waking Aug. 30 that several items on her dresser had been moved and about $200 was missing. There were no signs of forced entry.
200 block Springdale Drive – A man reported Sept. 2 that he arrived home to find his garage door open and his front door kicked in. A computer and flat-screen TV had been stolen, as well as a vehicle.
3500 block Piedmont Road – An apartment manager reported Aug. 31 that someone broke into the living room area of the complex through the fitness room, which is open 24 hours a day. Several items were stolen, including a flat-screen TV.
700 block Sidney Marcus Blvd. – A woman returned home to her unsecured residence Aug. 31 and found several items missing. She told police she thought she had locked all the doors.
200 block West Wieuca Road – The glass front door was broken out of a business and $500 cash taken from a file cabinet overnight on Sept. 4.
1100 block Collier Road – A door was broken and several items stolen from a home Sept. 3.
2100 Piedmont Road – Several items of scuba gear were stolen from a storage unit from which the lock was removed sometime between Aug. 10 and Aug. 30.
900 block Canterbury Road – Several electronic items were stolen from a residence Aug. 30 after a rear window was broken.
4000 block Glen Devon Drive – A man arrived home Sept. 2 to find the garage open and several items of lawn equipment missing.
4200 block Harris Trail – On Aug. 31, a man pretending to be a contractor-type worker walked into a residence while the cleaning lady was there and stole a purse.

50 block Blackland Drive – A wallet and iPod were stolen overnight Aug. 30 from an unlocked car.
3500 Peachtree Road – A woman returned to her car in a parking lot Aug. 31 to find a door damaged and a wallet missing.
3300 block Peachtree Road – On Aug. 31, a man returned to his car in a restaurant parking lot and found a window broken and a laptop missing.
3400 block Buckhead Loop – The lock was damaged on a car left in a parking lot overnight Sept. 4 and several items stolen from the vehicle.
600 block Garson Drive – A man reported Aug. 31 that he returned to his vehicle to find the lock damaged and several items stolen.
3200 block Ivy Chase Way – A man reported Sept. 3 that someone stole a pistol from his unlocked car.
3800 block Land O Lakes Drive – A woman reported Sept. 1 that someone had gone through her unlocked vehicle; she was notified by her bank that someone had used a credit card stolen from the car.
2000 block Peachtree Road – A man reported Aug. 31 that the driver’s side lock on his car was damaged in a parking lot and his audio system stolen.
2000 block Peachtree Road – A man reported Sept. 3 that a window was broken on his vehicle and a laptop and other items stolen.
Surry County Place – A woman reported on Sept. 3 that $30 was stolen from her unlocked car.
100 block Paces Ferry Road – Someone rummaged through an unlocked vehicle Aug. 31.
1200 block Tacoma Drive – Someone stole several boxes of beer from a truck Aug. 29.
200 block 25th Street – The wheels were taken from a 1997 Dodge sometime between Aug. 30 and Sept. 2.
1900 block La Dawn Lane – A GPS unit and wallet were reported missing from a car, with no sign of forced entry, on Sept. 4.
3100 block Peachtree Road – A man returned to his car to find a window broken out and several electronic items missing Aug. 30.
200 block Pharr Road – A man reported Aug. 31 that a window of his car had been broken and a laptop stolen.
2200 block Peachtree Road – A window was broken out sometime on Aug. 28 or 29 and papers tossed out the vehicle.
2800 block Peachtree Road – On the evening of Aug. 30, a window was broken out of a Jeep Cherokee and an IBM ThinkPad stolen.
2800 Peachtree Road – A man returned to his car in a parking lot Aug. 31 to find a window broken out and a laptop and briefcase stolen.
3400 block Lenox Road – A door was pried open Sept. 3 and several items stolen from the car.
700 block Cosmopolitan Drive – On Aug. 29, a man reported two males walking through a parking area checking door handles. They were chased off the property. A laptop and camera were reportedly stolen.
200 block Pharr Road – Several items were reported stolen from a car in a parking garage Sept. 2 after the lock was damaged.
3500 block Piedmont Road – Several items were reported stolen from vehicles Aug. 30 after the windows were broken out.
1400 block Chattahoochee Ave. – The door was damaged and property stolen from a car on Sept. 3.
3500 block Piedmont Road – Someone broke into a 2004 Jeep on Aug. 31 and stole an audio system.
3200 block Buckhead Forest Mews – A man reported Sept. 4 that someone stole several electronic items from his Chevy Tahoe. There were no signs of forced entry.
2900 block Piedmont Road – Someone reported that a vehicle was entered overnight on Aug. 31 and some papers taken.
1900 block Howell Mill Road – A man returned to his car Aug. 31 to find two broken windows and a laptop and GPS system stolen.
1100 block Northmoor Court – A man reported Aug. 31 that his wallet was stolen from his car, which he had left unlocked overnight.
600 block Wesley Drive – Cars were broken into and purses stolen on Aug. 30.
900 block East Paces Ferry – A man returned to his vehicle Aug. 29 to find a window broken and electronic items stolen.
3300 block Piedmont Road – A vehicle’s window was broken and a laptop taken Aug. 30.
3300 block Piedmont Road – A woman returned to her car Sept. 1 to find a window broken and a laptop and several other items stolen.
3400 block Lenox Road – A man reported Sept. 1 that he returned to his car to find a window broken and a laptop stolen.
3400 block Lenox Road – A man reported Sept. 3 that when he returned to his car, he saw a small hole under the lock, and found his laptop stolen.
Old Ivy Road – A woman reported Aug. 29 that her passenger-side window was broken and items were taken.
Old Ivy Road – On the evening of Sept. 4, a window was broken out of a Jeep Wrangler and a pistol, cellphone and other items were stolen.
100 block West Wieuca Road – A woman reported Aug. 29 that her vehicle was broken into at Chastain Park and her purse stolen.
3500 block Peachtree Road – A man reported Sept. 2 that the lock was damaged on his car and he found his wallet missing.
3500 block Peachtree Road – A woman reported Sept. 1 that the window was broken on her vehicle and her purse – which she had hidden on the floorboard of her car, under the mat – had been stolen. Two other vehicles were broken into at the same time and location.
100 block West Wieuca – A woman reported Sept. 2 that her purse was stolen from her car while it was parked at Chastain Park.
3400 block Buckhead Loop – A man reported Aug. 29 that a gun was stolen from his unlocked vehicle.
3200 block Lenox Road – A man reported his Altima stolen Aug. 29.
100 block 26th Street – Someone stole a Dodge in the early-morning hours of Aug. 29.
2500 block Piedmont Road – A man reported Sept. 2 that he placed his car keys in an unlocked locker; the keys and his car, which was in the lot in front of the building, were stolen.
2200 block Coronet Way – A vehicle was reported stolen Aug. 30.
2400 block Camellia Lane – A vehicle was reported stolen overnight Sept. 4.
1000 block Peachtree Park Drive – Two golf carts were reported stolen Sept. 2.
900 block Collier Road – An Acura Integra was reported stolen from an apartment complex parking lot Sept. 4.
2700 block Ridgewood Road – A man reported his Jeep stolen Aug. 30. The vehicle was unlocked and the keys had been left on the seat.
3800 block Northridge Parkway – Shoplifting was reported at Southern Wine and Spirits on Sept. 4.
1300 block Paces Ferry Road – On Sept. 2, suspects pumped gas, could not pay, attempted to barter with the cashier, then drove off without paying.
3400 block Buckhead Loop – Suspects entered the Ulta store and took several bottles of cologne without paying Sept. 4.
3400 block Peachtree Road – Items were shoplifted from Saks on Sept. 1. The suspect was a juvenile and was released to his caseworker at DFACS.
3300 block Peachtree Road – Items were shoplifted from TJMaxx on Sept. 1. The suspect was arrested.
3500 block Peachtree Road – A shoplifter was arrested at Belk on Sept. 3.
3300 block Peachtree Road – A woman was arrested after taking the tags off a jacket at Old Navy Sept. 3.
3400 block Piedmont Road – Several laptops were reported stolen Sept. 3.
3300 block Peachtree Road – A shoplifter was arrested Aug. 29.
3300 block Peachtree Road – A juvenile was caught shoplifting at Bloomingdale’s on Aug. 30 and released to his father.
3300 block Peachtree Road – $15,000 worth of jeans was stolen from Macy’s Aug. 31. Suspects fled the scene in a black Dodge Ram truck.
3300 block Peachtree Road – It was reported Aug. 31 that a store deposit was made on Aug. 28. The next day the deposit was short of what was believed to have been deposited.
3500 block Peachtree Road – Shoplifters from Filene’s Basement were arrested Aug. 31.
3600 block Peachtree Road – Someone shoplifted items from Borders bookstore on Sept. 1.
3300 block Peachtree Road – It was reported Sept. 2 that several night deposits appeared to be missing or short.
3300 block Peachtree Road – Three juveniles attempted to shoplift items from Macy’s on Sept. 2.
3300 block Peachtree Road – Someone attempted to shoplift items from Bloomingdale’s on Sept. 3.
3300 Peachtree Road – It was reported Sept. 3 that a store employee removed several pairs of shoes, went to another store and exchanged the shoes for a credit on his card. The suspect did not pay for the items.
3300 block Peachtree Road – A woman reported Sept. 3 that someone came into her office to deliver some boxes, and when she returned to her desk, she found her wallet missing. She later discovered charges on her credit cards.
3300 block Peachtree Road – Shoplifting was reported at Bloomingdale’s on Sept. 4.
3300 block Peachtree Road – A shoplifter was arrested at Urban Outfitters on Sept. 4.
3300 block Chatham Road – A couple with a construction crew doing repairs on their home reported Sept. 2 that they had discovered jewelry missing. They said they had seen a man walking in and out of the location who did not work for the construction company.
200 block Pharr Road – A man reported Aug. 31 that his brother brought a girl home and that she took items from the home, including a laptop, an iPad and a watch.
3000 block Piedmont Road – A man reported Sept. 3 that he invited a woman to his hotel room and that he discovered his wallet missing after she was gone.
80 block West Paces Ferry – A woman reported Sept. 4 that $300 was removed from her locker while she was at a spa. The locker had a faulty lock. The head of security refused to have prints taken at the location.
2300 block Peachtree Road – A woman reported Sept. 1 that she met a man and he asked her to put money into her account and then give the money to him so he could help her throw the party she wanted.
2100 block Peachtree Road – A man reported Sept. 4 that he parked his motorcycle and put his helmet nearby. When he returned, his helmet was gone.
2500 block Bolton Road – Items were shoplifted from CVS on Aug. 31.
1800 block Howell Mill Road – A person who stole a wallet from a shopping cart at Wal-Mart was arrested on Aug. 28.
1800 block Howell Mill Road – A shoplifter was arrested at Wal-Mart on Aug. 31.
90 block La Rue Place – Someone reported Sept. 1 that the tag decal was taken from the rear of her vehicle and that she found scratches on the vehicle.
1200 block Logan Circle – Sometime between Aug. 10 and Aug. 31, a trailer was stolen, in addition to a nail gun and scaffolding that were inside the trailer.
2000 block Bolton Road – On Sept. 2, a man took two 12-packs of beer without paying.
1900 block James Jackson Parkway – Several trench boxes – which are very heavy and require equipment to move them – were taken from a site sometime between Aug. 27 and Sept. 1. No tracks were detected at the scene.
1600 block Northside Drive – Someone reported Sept. 2 that vehicles were being booted but the money was not being turned in to the company.
1600 block Northside Drive – A man reported Sept. 2 that he left his cellphone on the counter of a business and when he returned it was gone. The cashier stated that a man had walked up and grabbed the phone and then left and driven away in a white pickup.
