Shake your moneymaker for a good cause on Thursday, Sept. 23, 8 p.m. at The Highland Inn Ballroom as The Safety Dance raises funds for the Poncey-Highland Security Patrol. Admission is only $10.

There will be cash prizes of $50 and $100 for the best dancers, who will be cutting a rug to retro, alternative and modern dance tracks. There will be five dances for the cash prizes and winners will be determined by crowd applause. That means you don’t have to be a great dancer, just win over the crowd.

The Highland Inn is at 644 N. Highland Ave. For more information about the event and the Poncey-Highland Safety Patrol visit www.phsafety.com.
