The following information was provided to the Reporter by the Zone 2 precinct of the Atlanta Police Department from its records and is presumed to be accurate.

Aggravated assault

70 block Sheridan Drive – A person pushed and struck another person about the face Oct. 6, causing pain and injury.

Robbery

3300 block Peachtree Road – On Oct. 3, a man claimed to have been robbed by several men after they offered to show him where to find a bathroom.

1200 block W. Paces Ferry Road – On Oct. 4, off-duty officers responded to a robbery in progress at the Bank of America. The suspect, who had presented a note to the teller, left the bank and was apprehended in the area.

Burglary

100 block Collier Road – The door to a medical office was pried open and items were stolen from the premises Oct. 4 or 5.

400 block Northside Circle – A woman returned home Oct. 5 to find someone trying to kick in her front door. The suspect ran down the stairs of the complex.

2000 block Peachtree Road – A laptop was stolen from an unsecured area of a health-care facility sometime between Oct. 1 and Oct. 4.

2000 block Peachtree Road – A man returned home Oct. 6 to find his house had been broken into. Items including jewelry and a laptop had been stolen.

40 block Peachtree Valley Road – A man reported Sept. 28 that when he arrived home to his apartment, he found that his door had been kicked in. A laptop and a green card had been stolen. At the same location on the same day, another man arrived home to find his door had been kicked in and a pistol and flat-screen TV stolen, and a woman came home to find her door kicked in and some jewelry stolen. On the same day, another man reported electronics stolen from his residence after the door had been kicked in.

100 block 26th St. – A woman reported that when she returned home Oct. 7, her front door had been kicked in and jewelry and a laptop stolen.

400 block Armour Drive – A woman returned to her apartment between Oct. 1 and 2 and found that her plasma TV and iPod and $600 in cash had been stolen. There was no evidence of forced entry.

2100 block Bolton Road – Someone kicked in a door and stripped the copper out of four air-conditioning units at an apartment complex Oct.  6 or Oct 7. The person also took a microwave.

1100 block Collier Road – Several people arrived home to the same location Oct. 5 to find that their front doors had been kicked in and electronics and other items stolen.

2300 block Parkland Drive – An officer responded to a call Oct. 5 about a suspicious person, and when he arrived, he found the victim’s front door had been kicked open. Shortly thereafter, the victim arrived and told the officer that his flat-screen TV had been stolen, along with three laptops.

3400 block Kingsboro Road – A woman returned to her apartment Oct. 8 and found that her door had been forced open and several electronic items and other items stolen.

4100 block E. Brookhaven Drive – A man returned home Oct. 4 to find that his door had been kicked in and a 50-inch flat-screen TV stolen.

Larceny from auto

40 block Peachtree Valley Road – Items were stolen from an unlocked car in an apartment parking lot Oct. 3.

1700 block Peachtree St. – A briefcase was stolen Oct. 6 from a 2009 Ford F-150 that had been parked for about two hours. A window had been broken.

1800 block Peachtree Road – A car was reported broken into Oct. 2. The lock was damaged.

2600 block Piedmont Road – A Chevrolet and a Subaru were broken into Oct. 7 and several items stolen, including a GPS system, in-dash stereo, a Blackberry and a laptop. The windows were broken.

Collier Road – A 2005 Honda was left unsecured in a parking lot Oct. 6 and several items were stolen from the vehicle.

100 block 26th St. – A tire was reported stolen from a vehicle Oct. 2 or 3, and another car on the same site was broken into (lock damaged) and several items removed Oct. 3.

1000 block Huff St. – The passenger-side front window on a 2002 Toyota Camry was broken out Oct. 3 and several items stolen from the car.

1700 block Ellen St. – Two pistols and other items were taken from an unmarked government vehicle and another car Oct. 8 or 9. There were no signs of forced entry.

1700 block Northside Drive – A 2005 Nissan Altima was broken into (window broken) Oct. 7 or 8 and items taken.

1700 block Howell Mill Road – A man went to have lunch at a Chinese restaurant Oct. 6, and when he returned to his car, discovered the lock damaged and items stolen.

1900 block Anjaco Road – A woman reported items stolen from her 1984 Toyota, which she had left unlocked in a lot Oct. 6.

Habersham Road and Argonne Drive – On Oct. 3, a man reported landscaping equipment stolen from the back of his truck. The chain had been cut and the lock damaged.

200 block N. Colonial Homes Circle – A 2008 Dodge Charger was broken into Oct. 5.

2800 block Northside Drive – A woman had the spare tire stolen from her 2002 Honda CRV on Oct. 6 when it was parked in a school parking lot.

2200 block Virginia Place – A woman reported Oct. 4 that the ignition switch had been damaged on one of her cars and items taken from her other vehicle.

2400 block Peachtree Road – A 1999 Honda was broken into and items taken Oct. 3. The fence into the complex had been cut.

2200 block Peachtree Road – Windows were broken on vehicles and electronic items removed Oct. 6.

2200 block Peachtree Road – A woman returned to her car Oct. 6 and found the left front window broken in and several items stolen, including electronics and a Vera Bradley bag.

2800 block Peachtree Road – The window was broken out of a 2003 Ford and several items stolen Oct. 7.

2200 block Peachtree Road – A 2006 Dodge Ram was broken into (window broken) and a laptop stolen Oct. 7.

2200 block Peachtree Road – A printer sitting on the back seat of a 2009 Chevy Tahoe was stolen Oct. 9. The rear passenger side window was broken out.

2200 block Peachtree Road – A laptop and camera were stolen from a 2004 Pontiac Oct. 9; a window was broken out.

2200 block Peachtree Road – Several items including a laptop and credit cards were stolen from a car (window broken out) on Oct. 5.

300 block Pharr Road – A laptop was stolen from a car (window broken out) Oct. 8 or 9.

3000 block Peachtree Road – A laptop was stolen from a car (window broken out) Oct. 7.

2500 block Piedmont Road – On Oct. 7 a woman reported that the door handle was broken on her 2008 Chevy Tahoe and that her purse was stolen, along with an iPod.

2600 Ellwood Drive – Items were stolen Oct. 4 or 5 from unlocked cars.

2100 block Fairhaven Circle – A man left his 2003 Lexus unlocked between Oct. 3 and 5 and had his credit card stolen.

600 Garson Drive – The lock was damaged on a car and several items, including a credit card, stolen from the vehicle Oct. 3 or 4.

2500 block Piedmont Road – A GPS system was stolen from a 2006 Lexus Oct. 8. A front window had been broken in.

2400 Parkland Drive – Door locks and the ignition were damaged on a vehicle Oct. 6 or 7.

2400 Parkland Drive – The tag was taken from a Dodge parked in a lot Oct. 8 or 9.

800 block Sidney Marcus Blvd. – Someone broke into a 2003 GM van Oct. 2 or 3 and stole a TV and speakers from a custom-built cabinet inside the van.

800 block Sidney Marcus Blvd. – A GPS system and a cancelled paycheck were stolen from a 2010 Chevy Impala (door handle broken) Oct. 6.

Auto theft

900 block Collier Road – A 2006 Honda Civic was stolen from an apartment complex Oct. 8 or 9.

1800 block Peachtree Road – A Cadillac Escalade was stolen from a restaurant parking lot in the early-morning hours of Oct. 2.

Roanoke Avenue – A 2005 BMW parked on the street was stolen overnight on Nov. 4-5.

400 block Lindbergh Drive – A car was stolen from a parking lot Oct. 7.

3300 block Ferncliff Place – A man’s car was stolen while he was doing landscaping Oct. 4; he had left the keys in the car ignition and the doors unsecured.

2200 block Bolton Road – A woman parked her 1995 Nissan in a lot Oct. 7. She left the car with the engine running, and when she returned, the car was gone.

I-85 and Cheshire Bridge – A man left his disabled 1992 Ford F-150 truck alongside the interstate on Oct. 3, and when he returned two days later, the truck was gone.

3300 block Piedmont Road – A man reported parking his car in the lot of the Hampton Inn Oct. 2, and when he returned to the lot, he found only the door handle and broken glass. Video surveillance shows the car exiting the garage at about 10:40 p.m. Oct. 2.

3500 Peachtree Road – A woman reported that she surrendered her Mercedes to the valet service Oct. 8, and when she returned to retrieve the vehicle, it was gone.

400 block W. Paces Ferry Road – A man was seen Oct. 5 jumping into a 2000 Isuzu truck parked in a parking lot and driving away. The keys were inside the truck.

3500 Peachtree Road – A man parked his 2007 Dodge Charger in a lot Oct. 1, and when he returned, the vehicle was gone.

Other larceny

3400 block Buckhead Loop – A shoplifter was arrested at Nordstrom store on Oct. 6.

3300 block Peachtree Road – A man was seen pulling security tags off clothing at TJMaxx store on Oct. 3 and attempting to leave the store. When approached, he dropped the clothes. He was detained and later arrested after police reviewed video footage.

3500 block Peachtree Road – During filming of a movie Oct. 4, several people reported items stolen from a table when they returned.

3500 Peachtree Road – Cases of shoplifting were reported at a Belk store on Oct. 5 and Oct. 9.

3400 Peachtree Road – Someone tried to conceal several items in a shopping bag Oct. 9 and exit without paying for the items. A suspect was arrested and charged.

Piedmont and Lenox roads – A security guard reported Oct. 6 that he saw a women trying to stuff several items of clothing in her purse and leave a store. When he confronted her, she began to struggle with him, attempting to leave the premises.

3400 block Lenox Road – A person came into the AT&T store Oct. 3 and removed a phone from the display and replaced it with a dummy phone before exiting the store. The incident was captured on camera. On Oct. 5, the manager of the store reported a cell phone missing from the store; there was no video footage of the theft.

3300 block Peachtree Road – A man attempted to conceal a watch on his person at a Bloomingdale’s store on Oct. 3; the suspect was arrested and charged.

3300 block Peachtree Road – On Oct. 3, several people grabbed jeans from a Bloomingdale’s store and ran from the store. The suspects dropped most of the merchandise but were able to get away with $800 worth of clothing.

3600 block of Peachtree Road – A man concealed several items inside his backpack at a CVS store on Oct. 3 and left without paying.

3500 block Peachtree Road – A man on Oct. 5 selected some gift bags and bottles of champagne at a Publix store, went into the restroom and emerged with the items concealed. He passed all points of sale without paying and was arrested.

3300 Peachtree Road – On Oct. 3, a woman set her purse down, turned to a parking attendant and found the purse gone when she turned back around. A man had been sitting on a bench nearby.

3300 block Peachtree Road – Shoplifting was reported at a Macy’s store on Oct. 5 and Oct. 9.

3500 block Peachtree Road – Shoplifting was reported at a Publix store on Oct. 5.

3500 block Peachtree Road – A Target store employee was seen taking money from the cash register on Oct. 9. The money was recovered.

3200 block Peachtree Road – On Oct. 4, a booting company reported a boot stolen and the motorcycle gone on which the boot had been placed.

70 block W. Paces Ferry Road – A man came into a Whole Foods store on Oct. 8 and took several beers and fled in a white Honda.

3300 block Peachtree Road – On Oct. 3, a woman left her purse unattended while she went to dance in the main ballroom of a hotel during a function involving 600 people, and when she returned, her purse was gone.

2300 block Peachtree Road – A women who works in a restaurant reported that her iPod was stolen from her locker Oct. 5.

2700 block Peachtree Road – The gate at an apartment complex was damaged and a golf cart taken on Oct. 5 or 6. Suspects later were spotted returning the golf cart.

2600 block Piedmont Road – A Pizza Hut delivery person made a delivery on Oct. 9; when he returned to Pizza Hut, he discovered that the money was counterfeit.

1800 block Howell Mill Road – Several incidents of shoplifting were reported at a Wal-Mart store from Oct. 3 to Oct. 8.

1800 block Howell Mill Road – Two people on Oct. 4 attempted to conceal several items in a backpack and purse before exiting without paying. Both were arrested.

1800 block Howell Mill Road – A woman’s laptop was stolen while she was at a Starbuck’s shop on Oct. 5. She was sitting at a table, stepped out for about half an hour, and when she returned, she discovered the computer was gone.

1800 block Howell Mill Road – A women reported Oct. 6 that while she was shopping someone took her cell phone from her cart.

2000 block Bolton Road – A man came into the Chevron store Oct. 9 and took several cases of alcohol without paying for them. He was driving a white Infiniti.

1700 block Ellsworth Blvd. – A man entered a clothing store Oct. 5, snatched several coats off the rack and ran out of the store.

400 block Bishop St. – Two women came into a store Oct. 8; while one of the women asked to see several items, the other woman went behind the store counter and took credit and debit cards from the owner’s purse. There is video footage of the incident.
