Buckhead residents are invited to a “town hall”-style meeting on Saturday, Nov. 13 to discuss with city leaders the Department of Watershed Management’s progress in dealing with the large number of high water bills delivered to residents.

The meeting, to be held at the Northside United Methodist Church, was arranged by Buckhead resident Bill Lucas, who has taken on the task of being a go-between for residents and business owners in dealing with the watershed management department on the issue. The meeting will begin at 11 a.m.

Northside United Methodist Church, 2799 Northside Drive, is located at the corner of Kingswood Lane and Northside Drive, next to North Atlanta High School and north of West Wesley Road.

Lucas, who moderate the discussion, said he anticipates Atlanta COO Peter Aman, Interim CFO Jim Beard, watershed management Commissioner Dexter White and other department managers and staff members will take part in the discussion.
