The annual Cathedral of St. Philip Antiques Show and Tour of Homes celebrates a milestone this year: four decades of fundraising for worthy causes.

The 40th anniversary tour of four Buckhead homes will be Jan. 30 and Jan. 31, followed by an antiques show featuring 35 dealers from across the country Feb. 2 through Feb. 5. This year’s event benefits H.E.R.O for children, an organization dedicated to improving the quality of life for children infected with and affected by HIV and AIDS.

“Not many organizations that exist for fund-raising purposes last that long,” said Susan Graham, who co-chairs the events along with Cindra Brown.

Another highlight of this year’s event will be a lecture and book signing by the University of Georgia’s former football coach and athletic director Vince Dooley at 7 p.m. Feb. 4. Dooley will speak and sign copies of “Vince Dooley’s Garden: The Horticultural Journey of a Football Coach.” For a complete schedule of events, go to
