Dunwoody’s Fidelity Bank was robbed Feb 1. by a man police suspect was involved in a a nearby bank heist Jan. 21.

On Feb. 1, a man came into the bank at 118 Perimeter Center West around 9:15 a.m. and handed over a note that demanded money. The teller gave the man cash and he fled on foot toward the MARTA station, according to a Dunwoody Police press release.

He was seen getting into a taxi and leaving the area, police said.

The method mirrors a recent bank robbery that occurred Jan. 21 at the RBC Bank at 125 Perimeter Center East, according to police.

The suspect was identified in both cases as a 6-foot black male who weighs 200 pounds. In both cases, the suspect was wearing a heavy black jacket with a hood, police said.
