Johnson Ferry Road is scheduled to be paved from near the Chattahoochee River to Abernathy Road between April 4 and April 10, the city of Sandy Springs announced.

The paving will begin at Johnson Ferry and Riverside Drive and work east to the intersection of Johnson Ferry and River Valley roads, the city said.

On April 7, starting at 7 p.m., traffic will shift on Johnson Ferry from Riverside Drive east to Redding Drive, the city said. On April 8, starting at 7 p.m., traffic near the River Valley/Brandon Mill/Abernathy/Johnson Ferry Roads intersection will move to new alignments.  Anew River Valley Road signal will be working on Monday, April 10, the city said.

The schedule depends on the weather, however, so residents should watch the city website or monitor Twitter for changes, the city said.  For more information, check www.sandyspringsga.org or call 770-730-5600.
