The Buckhead Coalition says it will help neighborhood civic associations buy “pet stations” to assist in the removal of dog waste.

The stations include bag dispensers, waste recycles and instructions. The coalition, a nonprofit civic association, said it will charge civic groups $25 for the stations, if the groups agree to be responsible for maintaining them and to remove any waste not removed by the city. The stations usually cost nearly $300, the association said in a press release issued June 17.
