Kann began her one-year term as the leader of the civic club July 1. She is taking over the post from past president Sidney Browning .
“I am looking forward to a really great year with a really great club,” Kann said. “We are involved in our community in every way we can be to make things better.”
Dottie Toney, public relations director for the Rotary Club of Dunwoody, said she thinks Kann will be a great president.
“She is the most organized, best planner I believe I’ve ever met,” Toney said. “We had our first meeting under her leadership and you could sense the energy in the room. Everybody’s very excited about this year.”
