The Atlanta Journal Constitution is reporting that the mysterious “Project Gamma” economic development project headed to Sandy Springs is a relocation of commercial packaging manufacturer Graphic Packaging from Marietta.

The AJC quotes a Cobb County Chamber of Commerce Official as confirmation of the move. Sandy Springs Officials have declined to disclose the name of the company. At its July 12 meeting, city officials offered the unnamed company several economic incentives to move to the city. The city will waive city will waive two-years’ worth of business taxes, up to $75,000 each year, a $35,000 one-time impact fee and a $3,887 permit fee.
