Kate’s Club, an Atlanta nonprofit that provides grief support to children and teens who have lost a family member, will host its eighth annual Cabaret fundraiser on Aug. 19. The Parisian-inspired event will take place at the Buckhead Theatre,  3110 Roswell Road.  A VIP reception will begin at 7 p.m., with the main event running from 8 p.m. to midnight. In addition to gourmet hors d’oeuvres and ABSOLUT cocktails, the fundraiser will include silent auction items, mystery boxes and live entertainment from musical guest U.S. Beat.

For eight years, Kate’s Club has been empowering children and teens facing life after the death of a parent or sibling. Proceeds from the annual Kate’s Club Cabaret help support all of the organization’s programs, including Camp Good Mourning (a three-day retreat at Twin Lakes), Clubhouse Saturdays, Club Outings and additional grief support services.

“We are so excited to celebrate eight amazing years and all that is to come. Thanks to the support of so many, Kate’s Club is making a profound impact on the community and the grieving children and families we serve,” says Emily Hawkins, executive director of Kate’s Club. “You can always count on Cabaret to be a great party with the proceeds directly benefiting Atlanta’s children.”

W Buckhead is offering Cabaret guests a discounted room rate of $139, and the St. Regis is offering guests a special rate of $199. To purchase tickets for the Cabaret, visit www.katesclub.org .
