The Buckhead Church announced Aug. 1 that comedian Jeff Foxworthy will headline the church’s Backyard Bash on Sept. 22 at 7:30 p.m.
Tickets are $50 per person and can be purchased at www.backyardbash2011.org. This year’s event will benefit Atlanta Mission, Atlanta Community Ministries, Buckhead Christian Ministry, Charis Community Housing, The Furniture Bank of Metro Atlanta, MedShare, Open Hand and Woodson Elementary School.
Foxworthy, a member of the Blue Collar Comedy Tour made famous by his “you might be a redneck” routine, is a long-time supporter of Northpoint Ministries. Buckhead Church, founded in 2001, is one of the five campuses of North Point Ministries. Last year, the Backyard Bash raised $150,000 for three nonprofit organizations serving the North Fulton area near North Point Community Church.
