Roswell-based NexTraq confirmed on Aug. 3 it is relocating its headquarters to Sandy Springs and plans to add about 20 new jobs to its growing business.
The company, which provides web-based GPS tracking for trucking and other industries with fleet vehicles, plans to hire people with backgrounds in sales and marketing and engineering, Chief Marketing Officer Mark Roberts said.
The new headquarters will be located at 1200 Lake Hearn Drive in Perimeter Crossing and will be 21,000 square feet, according to a company press release.

Roberts expects the company to move in by the end of September.

“The building looked right, felt right,” Roberts said. “It sends the right message.”

He called the new headquarters a “fun” location for the company.

Sandy Springs Mayor Eva Galambos welcomed the new Sandy Springs residents.

“We’re delighted to house the headquarters of any company … and we know that Sandy Springs is a good place to live and work,” Galambos said.

Mike Scarbrough, CEO of NexTraq, said via press release, “ … NexTraq’s move to 1200 Lake Hearn will facilitate its growth and provide a central location within the Atlanta community to recruit the best and brightest candidates in the technology marketplace.”
