A decision was delayed August 10 on whether to allow a developer to move a curb cut on Peachtree Road at a proposed drug store building.

The DeKalb County Zoning Board of Appeals unanimously voted to delay the matter for 30 days. The developer of a planned Walgreens store at the corner of Peachtree Road and Colonial Drive requested the delay.

Neighbors have criticized the design of the building, saying it does not fit the requirements of the Brookhaven “overlay” zoning. The developers, in response, have said they have made a number of changes in their plans to fit the zoning overlay.
