6:30-9:30 p.m. – The Collision Avoidance Training (C.A.T.) program is an advanced defensive driving and vehicle control program designed for teenage drivers at least 16 years old with a valid operator’s license. The 12-hour course is taught by trained and certified Dunwoody police officers, held over a two-day period, with 3-4 hours of classroom instruction followed by eight hours of one-on-one, behind-the-wheel training. Students must use their own (or parent/guardian’s) vehicle for behind-the-wheel training. Class continues on Saturday, August 20, from 8 a.m.-4 p.m. $125 per student for two-day course. Contact Lt.
