Drivers can expect delays on I-285 this weekend as crews continue summer construction, the Perimeter Community Improvement Districts announced Aug. 12.
Three eastbound lanes and one westbound lane of I-285 will be closed between Ashford-Dunwoody and Chamblee-Tucker roads, the PCID said it had been informed by the Georgia Department of Transportation. Ramps at Chamblee-Tucker, Ashford-Dunwoody and Chamblee-Dunwoody will be closed temporarily for repaving, the PCID said.
“It is going to be a difficult traffic weekend for motorists around metro Atlanta,” DOT District Construction Engineer Lee Upkins said in a press release. “All I can say is plan ahead.”
