Dunwoody Police responded to a bank robbery at Chase Bank, located at 5552 Chamblee Dunwoody Rd, around 11:15 a.m on Aug. 19, police said. Two males walked into the bank and demanded money, according to police. Police said the armed men entered the bank, demanded ordered customers to the ground. One of the suspects shot his gun into the ceiling twice, police said, but no one was injured.
They fled the scene on headed north on Chamblee Dunwoody in a silver 2002 Mitsubishi Galant that was reported stolen out of Sandy Springs this morning. The tag number is BUV2115.
“The suspects are described as a black male wearing all black with a light colored clothing item covering his head and face,” a police press release said. “The second is a black male wearing blue jeans, a black shirt and black clothing item used to cover his head and face.”
