The Dunwoody Police Department responded to an armed robbery around 10:15 a.m. on Aug. 26.at Regions Bank at 1457 Mt. Vernon Road.
The suspect went into the bank and demanded money while brandishing a dark- colored semi-automatic handgun. He fled on foot with an unknown amount of cash.
The suspect is described as a black male, approximately 5 feet 6 inches or 5 feet 7 inches, wearing a red baseball cap, a gray long sleeve shirt and denim shorts with a designer patch on the left leg. The suspect was carrying a blue bag on his left shoulder.

This is the second Dunwoody bank robbery in a week.
On Aug. 19, police responded to a robbery at Chase Bank on Chamblee Dunwoody Road.
