If you like to combine your festival fun with a little beer, the German Bierfest at Woodruff Park in Downtown is right up your alley. The event is Aug. 27 from 2 to 7 p.m. Tickets are $30 online or $35 at the gate.
Attendees can drink all the beer they can safely consume and designated drivers get in free. There will also be a driver service on hand for those who over-indulge.
More than 20 beers will be available from brewers like Kapuziner, Dinkel Acker, Beck’s, Tucher, Weihenstephan and many more.

Festival Peachtree Latino
The multicultural festival will be held in Piedmont Park on Aug. 28 from 11 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. featuring exhibitions, sporting events, family activities, arts and crafts, food and live music.
Performing live on stage will be Jessica Fox, Paty Alvarez, Huey Dunbar IV, AB Quintanilla All Starz and Kinito Mendez.
