Alan Chadwick, Head Coach

I think it‘s going to be interesting this year. We’ve got a chance to have a pretty decent football team if everything falls into place.

We’re concerned about depth, especially at a couple of key positions — especially quarterback, linebacker and several offensive line positions, which are still in the developmental stage. Depth is my biggest concern. If we start having some injuries here and there, it could really stifle our production and our progress. I think if we can stay healthy and avoid some of the injuries we had last year, we should do fairly well.

I like our team speed. Our kicking game should be fairly good. We have one of the best kickers in the nation in Austin Hardin, who has committed to the University of Florida. Nick Brigham has committed to Maryland. Jordan Barrs, offensive guard, is a two-year starter. Those two we expect great production out of.

Our players are all going to have to play on both sides of the ball, both offense and defense. They’ve got to be in top shape.

Hopefully, it will be a pretty good year. The first part of the schedule is tough. We don’t want to dig ourselves too big a hole that we can’t dig back out of.
