The Ball Mill Creek Bridge on Spalding Drive has reopened to traffic, according to the city of Sandy Springs. The bridge was closed for repairs on August 15 when an inspection showed an undermining of its foundations. “We want to thank the residents and local commuters for their patience as we provided the needed maintenance, and we’re pleased to be able to reopen ahead of schedule,” Kevin Walter, director of public works for Sandy Springs, said in a statement on the city’s website.
