Atlanta’s Santa Speedo Run is Saturday, Dec. 10 at 2 p.m. at the Hudson Grille in Midtown. This year’s runners will be braving the elements to benefit Bert’s Big Adventure, a non-profit organization that provides Atlanta-area children with terminal and chronic illnesses and their families an opportunity to travel for five days to Walt Disney World for an all-expenses-paid trip of a lifetime.

Participants will run a short course down Peachtree Street and head back to Hudson Grille for the event celebration. All race participants are asked to raise a minimum $200 in support of Bert’s Big Adventure. Wearing a Speedo (or similar attire) is required and runners are encouraged to accessorize with holiday themed flair such as Santa hats, beards, stockings and other festive accents.

Last year’s event was a huge success with more than 200 registered participants and over $50,000 raised for a local charity. For registration, visit atlantasantaspeedorun.org.
