Heritage Sandy Springs has cancelled the concert scheduled for Mothers’ Day, Sunday, May 13, due to the threat of bad weather, the group said in a press release May 12.

The Swingin’ Medallions, who had been scheduled to play, were rescheduled for a show on Fathers’ Day, June 17, Heritage Sandy Springs said.

“Because the band travels from out of state, we did not have the ability to ‘wait and see.’ The decision had to be made in advance,” the organization said in its statement. “Rather than risk a rainout and a lost opportunity to see the Swingin’ Medallions, we decided to reschedule. Like you, we are very disappointed and regret the inconvenience.”
