Sandy Springs and Dunwoody are being considered as sites for an economic development project expected to bring more than 100 jobs to the area, according to the Atlanta Business Chronicle.

The project, code-named Project Lightning, would bring high paying IT and engineering jobs to the area, the Business Chronicle report says.

Local officials have not talked about the project. In his regular email update sent Friday, June 8, Sandy Springs City Councilman Chip Collins said the city is “Working with Georgia Department of Economic Development on recruiting a Fortune 500 company.”
