Dunwoody police arrested 20-year old Christopher Williams of Stone Mountain, for the June 22 murder of Roberto Calderon-Guzman.

Calderon-Guzman, 28, was shot at his home in the Peachtree Place Apartments near Winters Chapel Road. Police believe robbery was the motive.

Sgt. Mike Carlson said police believe Williams targeted Calderon-Guzman through an Internet escort service called backpage.com. They were able to locate Williams because of a similar robbery in DeKalb County, Carlson said.

“The victim over there did report it and that’s how we were able to trace this subject,” Carlson said. “They gave the same description. They were both on backpage.com.”

According to Georgia Voice, Calderon-Guzman was a popular drag performer who appeared under the name Noxy Cassandra Calderon.

Williams has been charged with one count of murder and one count of possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony. He is currently being held at the DeKalb County Jail.

“We’re just glad we caught him before there were any more potential victims out there,” Carlson said.
