The Buckhead Coalition is working with the owners of Lenox Square to add some amenities to the retail development, calling it a de facto town square for the community.

Lenox Square is spread out over 65 acres along Peachtree Road, has 250 retail spaces and attracts 55,000 people per day.

The coalition says it is partnering with property owner Simon Properties to make the place more of a centralized location.

Simon Properties is adding seats to the square’s guest services counter. The coalition is putting in a cell phone charging kiosk.

The kiosk will have copies of the Buckhead Guidebook, the coalition’s guide to all things Buckhead, and highway maps, according to the press release.
