Heritage Sandy Springs announced plans to start a new winter concert series.

The first of the free Sunday afternoon concerts, called Heritage Winter Classics, is scheduled for November. One concert will follow each month through February, Heritage said in a press release.

The concerts are planned for Heritage Hall, 6110 Bluestone Road.

Four shows are scheduled: the Midtown Brass Quintet on Nov. 18; Joe Gransden’s Holiday Show with special guest Francine Reed on Dec. 16; the Franklin Pond Quartet on Jan. 20; and Kaleidoscope on Feb. 17.

“I’m so honored to be a part of the Heritage Winter Classic Series,” trumpet player Joe Gransden said in a press release. “Francine Reed and I can’t wait to get everyone in a holiday mood!”

Doors open at 4 p.m. The concerts last from 4:30 p.m. until 6:30 p.m.

Heritage Sandy Springs hosts free outdoor concerts on the Sandy Springs Society Entertainment Lawn in the late spring and summer.
