We posted this topic on Facebook and readers sounded off with passion. There was a flurry of recommendations bouncing back and forth from Sublime Doughnuts on 10th Street on the West Side to Revolution Doughnuts on West College Avenue in Decatur. Classic Krispy Kreme is also a favorite.
They have a menu of popular flavors, like Strawberry N Cream, Nutella, Chocolate Banana Fritter and Red Velvet Cake. Doughnuts are priced individually, so it generally ranges $16-19 for a dozen.
Flavors are changing daily and often seasonal flavors like pumpkin sour cream, so go with an open mind. Readers recommend Nutella. $20 for a dozen.
