The city of Dunwoody said crews this spring will repave Mt. Vernon Road between Ashford Dunwoody Road and the Sandy Springs border.

“The need for repair of the pavement on the western section of Mt. Vernon Road was determined following quality testing and analysis work performed by the city,” a press release says. “The testing showed partial asphalt deficiencies on select areas of the road. The city anticipates the future road work will take place over a one to two-day period in the spring when temperatures are warmer. The repaving work will be performed by the contractor at no cost to the city.”
