Dunwoody police will collect expired, unused or otherwise unwanted prescription drugs during “National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day” on April 27.

Police will collect the drugs at police headquarters, 41 Perimeter Center East, Suite 100.The collection will last from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

No needles, syringes, thermometers, IV bags, bloody or infectious waste, personal care products, empty containers, inhalers, medical equipment or hydrogen peroxide will be collected, police said in a press release.
