The city of Dunwoody’s rewrite of its zoning and land-use ordinances is scheduled to wrap up this summer, the city’s community development director told members of the board of the Dunwoody Homeowners Association during their June 2 meeting.

The rewrite has been under way for months. Drafts of the ordinances, showing proposed changes, are available online at http://zoningdunwoody.com/ or through “zoning rewrite project” at http://dunwoodyga.gov/Departments/community_development/PlanningZoning.aspx .

Community Development Director Steve Dush said the proposals are to be presented to the Dunwoody Community Council on June 13, then on to the city’s Planning Commission in July and to the City Council in August.

The DHA meeting began at 7:30 p.m. June 2 and lasted about 30 minutes. The meeting was held by daylight and without electric lights after a thunderstorm apparently knocked out power.
