(CBS ATLANTA) The giant SkyView Atlanta Ferris wheel could be open by the end of the week, according to the general manager.

Michael Montgomery, Skyview Atlanta general manager, said it takes about seven days to put the Ferris wheel together. Montgomery said the crews have been working 12 hours a day, weather permitting, to finish.

The 200 foot tall is located next to Centennial Olympic Park. It is being built in what used to be a parking lot next to The Tabernacle.

The Ferris wheel came in from Pensacola, FL on 31 tractor-trailers.
