Garth Peters has been named executive vice president of the Buckhead Coalition, a nonprofit that promotes the Buckhead community.
Peters started work with the coalition in September 2006. He was named executive vice president by coalition president Sam Massell. Massell, founding president of the coalition, in a press release credited Peters with “shouldering a large portion of the coalition’s initiatives.”
Before joining the coalition staff, Peters served for more than two decades with the Bermuda Department of Tourism, including the position of ‘Aide de Camp’ to the Governor of Bermuda, and retiring as Bermuda’s North American tourism sales senior executive officer.
